THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE SOCIAL INSURANCE AGENCY OF THU DUC CITY

On January 22nd, 2021, the General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance signed Decision No. 128 / QD-BHXH on the establishment of the social insurance agency of Thu Duc city and assigned management staff to continue the activities of the industry, together with ensuring social security activities in newly established areas.

The decision on the establishment is based on the merger of the social insurance agency of District 2, District 9 and District Thu Duc directly under the social insurance agency of Ho Chi Minh City. Thu Duc City social insurance agency has legal status, its own seal, account, and its head office is located in Thu Duc city. 

The functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the social insurance agency of Thu Duc city comply with the provisions of Decision No. 969 / QD-BHXH dated July 29, 2019 of the General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance.

The decision takes effect from February 1st, 2021.
