CONDITIONS FOR BUSINESSES TO APPLY FOR THE LOWER OCCUPATIONAL DISEASE AND ACCIDENTS INSURANCE  RATE

      From July 15, 2020, according to Decree No. 58/2020 / NĐ-CP, businesses are proposed to pay compulsory social insurance premium into the Occupational accident and occupational diseases fund lower than the normal rate (only pay 0,3% of the salary fund as a basis for paying social insurance instead of 0,5%) when meeting the following four conditions:

No Conditions
1 Businesses that operate in the specific sectors under the occupational diseases and accident category.
2 Having reported occupational accidents, safety, and sanitation issues accurately and in a timely manner for the last three years.
3 Businesses should not have been subject to administrative or penal liability in violation of occupational safety – hygiene, and social insurance in the last three years.
4 The number of accidents in the last year has been reduced by at least 15 percent compared to the average of the last three years, or no accidents have occurred in the last three years.
